My device (phone or pc) is connected to AFF IoT module, but nothing happened

The AFF IoT module starts a hotspot in order to let the user to configure it easily (without need for any application or special software). Once you connect your device to this hotspot, a captive portal screen should appear containing the configuration page of the module. If there’s any problem with this step, try one of the following solutions:

  • Solution 1: When you connect your phone or tablet and nothing happened (the captive portal page doesn’t appear), try to forget the AFF IoT module (the hotspot generated by the module itself), and restart the module.
  • Solution 2: If it still not working, to factory reset it by pressing on the Factory Reset button for 5 seconds,
  • Solution 3: If it still not working, make sure your phone (or pc) is connected to the module, then open any browser, then type the following address in the search bar: 10.15.15.1. After that, the registration page should appear to configure the module.
